
Pimientos del Piquillo DOP, red peppers, whole and grilled, DOP, La Cocina de Lola
8-10 cm long bell peppers from Lodosa, native to the Navarre region. Intensely red, triangular, with compact yet firm flesh. They are harvested by hand and then grilled. Their flavor is sweet and complex due to the roasted notes. They are wonderful stuffed, for example with a fish forcemeat.
