Ghee is a term borrowed from Indian and Pakistani cuisine for clarified butter or clarified / clarified butter. This ghee is different from the original because of the melting process and because it is made from cow butter and not from buffalo butter. Like any clarified ghee, ghee has a longer shelf life than butter and has the advantage of being heated more.
