2025 Sauvignon QW, dry, 13% vol., Michael Furst
The limestone soil in the beautiful Sauer Valley surprises with true wonders, producing this unique, aromatic Sauvignon Blanc. This grape variety originates in southwestern France. It`s a natural cross between Traminer and Chenin Blanc. This is likely where its name comes from: the French word `sauvage,` meaning wild. In France, this grape variety is considered one of the noble grapes. Although Sauvignon Blanc is one of the most widely cultivated grape varieties in the world, don`t expect an ordinary wine here: anyone who hasn`t yet tasted this `wild` wine, shaped by the Moselle terroir, is missing out. It`s simply incomparable - and we`re thrilled! A potpourri of yellow fruits, gooseberry, and fresh kiwi awaits you.
