2020 Le Petit Pinot Noir Pinot Noir QW, 13.5% vol., F. Becker

Grown on limestone soils around Schweigen, on both the German and Alsatian sides of the border. The vines are between 15 and 42 years old. A pleasant, deep ruby red with dark reflections. The 19 months of aging in large and small oak barrels imparts a delicate spiciness and elegant berry aromas. The nose offers scents of cherry, beetroot, tobacco leaves, and forest floor. On the palate, it is juicy, delicately fruity, and robust, with good length and structure.
