This wine delights from the very first sip with a captivating interplay of freshness and depth. The grapes grow on calcareous soils and, after selective hand-harvesting, mature for five months on the fine lees in French and Palatinate oak barrels. On the nose, the Chardonnay entices with ripe yellow pear, melon, and citrus fruit, underscored by fresh brioche, butter, and a subtle smoky flint. On the palate, it reveals itself as wonderfully juicy and concentrated.
