2022 Valpolicella RIPASSO Superiore DOC, dry, 14% vol., Monte Zovo

Intense garnet red. The nose reveals aromas of ripe fruit, cherries, plums, and blackcurrant. Alongside sweet notes of vanilla, cinnamon, and cloves, this Ripasso also offers floral hints of geranium and violet. On the palate, it is soft, balanced, and full-bodied. It pairs perfectly with grilled meats and is excellent with succulent main courses such as pasta or risotto. It also complements charcuterie and hard cheeses very well.
