2023 Sangiovese IGT, dry, 13.5% vol., Caparzo

The Sangiovese grapes (85%) for this wine come from three affiliated vineyards in Montalcino, Castelnuovo Berardenga, and Magliano, lending elegance to the wine. Alicante from Magliano in the Maremma contributes color and tannins, Merlot from Castelnuovo Berardenga in Chianti provides harmony and aroma, and Petit Verdot from Montalcino adds structure and color. Intense ruby red. Fruity and spicy, full-bodied and well-rounded with a good finish, reminiscent of blackberries and raspberries.
