2021 Pouilly Fuisse AOP white wine, dry, 13% vol., Domaine de Giroux

FR - BIO - 01. Pouilly-Fuisse is the grand seigneur of the Maconnais. It is produced on approximately 750 hectares in the villages of Solutre, Vergisson, Chaintre, and Fuisse, to which the hamlet of Pouilly belongs (the combination of the latter two names gave it its appellation). It is aged for 11 months in 400-liter wooden barrels. A classic Chardonnay with a complexity and finesse that few possess. With delicate aromas of hazelnuts, honey, and butter, as well as fresh orchard fruits.
