Misotare - miso sauce, Masuzuka, Japan
Masuzuka`s Misotare is a rich, dark sauce made with mame miso, naturally enhanced with ginger and sesame for depth and aroma. Traditionally used in Japanese cuisine for oden, tofu, or dengaku, it`s also perfect as a dip for raw and cooked vegetables. Versatile in the kitchen: season vegetables or meat in a stir-fry, bake eggplant in the oven, or even enjoy it with tonkatsu-and for a creative twist, it pairs surprisingly well with German schnitzel. Masuzuka Misotare is made from locally grown Aichi soybeans and is a natural, additive-free specialty from the heart of Aichi Prefecture.
