A wine characterized by minerality and delicate fruit aromas. At the Rainer Sauer winery in Escherndorf on the Franconian Main River loop, hand-harvesting has been a tradition for generations. The vines thrive on steep slopes of shell limestone soil in the Lump vineyard, whose unique microclimate has shaped viticulture in this location for over 1000 years.
