2009 Cerons AC, sweet, 13.5% vol., Chateau de Cerons

Highly complex and refined, this wine boasts a vibrant acidity, despite the hot 2009 vintage, providing freshness and elegance. On the palate, it offers aromas of exotic fruits, honey, and spices. Despite its age, it remains youthful and possesses excellent aging potential. The dominant grape variety is Semillon (80%), complemented by smaller proportions of Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle. Harvesting was done by hand, and the grapes underwent rigorous selection. The wine was aged for 18 months in barriques. Chateau de Cerons is considered the premier winery in the Cerons region.
