2024 Sauvignon Blanc QW, dry, 13% vol., Martin Furst
From the limestone soil of the beautiful Sauer Valley, this unique and aromatic Sauvignon Blanc surprises with true wonders. The origin of this fresh wine lies in southwestern France. It`s a natural cross between the Traminer and Chenin Blanc grape varieties. This is likely where the name comes from: French `sauvage,` meaning wild. In France, this grape variety is considered one of the noble grapes. It`s one of the most widely cultivated grape varieties in the world, but anyone expecting an ordinary Sauvignon Blanc hasn`t yet tasted this wild one, shaped by the Moselle terroir. It`s incomparable, and we`re thrilled! A potpourri of yellow fruits, gooseberry, and fresh kiwi.
