2024 Grande Reserve IGP, dry, 13.5% vol., Anciens Temps

The Anciens Temps line is the flagship of the Reunis de Cebazan cooperative - offering exceptional quality at a fair price. The Grande Reserve of the Anciens Temps line is made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and displays the typical black berry fruit of the Languedoc, complemented by Morello cherries and ripe plums. In the glass, this juicy, velvety cuvee with its spicy fruit is joined by the typical vanilla aroma from barrel aging, as well as paprika, pepper, cloves, and a hint of lavender. It pairs particularly well with fruity and spicy dishes, such as lamb with ratatouille.
