2016 Brunello di Montalcino RISERVA, dry, 14.5% vol., Vasco Sassetti

From the 2016 vintage of the century. Made from 100% Sangiovese grapes. Aged for two years in large oak barrels, followed by bottle aging, this wine is only released five years after the harvest. A powerful, full-bodied Brunello de Montalcino Riserva with great ageing potential. Herbs and dark berries are evident on the nose, which are also evident on the palate.
