2017 Il Caberlot, barrique, dry, 13.5% vol., Magnum, Carnasciale

The Caberlot grape is a natural cross between Cabernet Franc and Merlot and has been cultivated exclusively at the Podere Il Carnasciale winery since 1986. The winery`s flagship wine is also named Il Caberlot. It matures for 22 months in French oak barrels. Caberlot is one of Italy`s most celebrated wines. Only 2,300 bottles are produced annually.
