2020 Il Carnasciale, dry, 13.5% vol., Carnasciale

Carnasciale is the second wine of the Podere Il Carnasciale winery and is made from 100% Caberlot grapes from younger vines. Caberlot is a natural cross between Cabernet Franc and Merlot and has been cultivated exclusively on this estate since 1986. Carnasciale is aged in French oak barrels. Its nuanced character already hints at the quality of its big brother, Il Caberlot. Carnasciale also pairs well with all braised dishes and roasts.
