Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, this wine offers spicy, herbal, and juicy notes of fresh fruit. On the palate, it is powerful and warm, with a long finish and excellent aging potential. A 100% Tempranillo. The Orben winery is located at an altitude of 650 meters in the Rioja Alavesa region. The vines, planted between 1939 and 1954, grow on 30 hectares, divided into 74 small parcels with a high clay and limestone content. Thanks to the altitude of the vineyards and the Mediterranean-Atlantic climate, the winery produces ripe and aromatic grapes, yielding two modern and elegant Riojas that have received high praise from the international wine press.
