This white miso is made without artificial flavors or preservatives, using only the finest, purely Japanese ingredients. It`s incredibly versatile and simply ideal for miso soups and marinating fish or meat, boasting a beautiful and aromatic miso bouquet. A flavor that reflects over 200 years of tradition and expertise. The soybeans used are hulled to achieve a lighter color. The small Yagisawa brewery, established in 1807, was completely destroyed by the tsunami but slowly rebuilt itself, step by step, to pass on its tradition and fantastic miso products to the next generation.
