2018 Banyuls Blanc Cornet and Cie, Cuvee, sweet, 16.5% vol., Abbe Rous

Where the Pyrenees fall into the sea, the Banyuls vineyards stretch along the coast for 25 km, from Collioure to Cerbere and Port-Vendres. In these locations, on slate terraces, where the grapes are harvested overripe, Banyuls - Vin Doux Naturel (natural sweet wine) - with its rich and complex aromas is created. The scent is intense of Williams pears, acacia and fresh notes of heather and white chocolate. In terms of taste, these aromas are supported by a fresh sweetness.
