Dry and fruity on the nose with baked apple and orange, then becoming sweeter with figs, raisins and marzipan. Mouth-filling on the palate. An initially dry fruit sweetness with currants and dark chocolate turns into extremely aromatic and spicy notes of leather, oak and freshly ground coffee beans. Complex in the aftertaste. More spice and fruity notes of cherry and flambéed apple again, followed by unexpected smoke with malt. Technical data: distilled 11/2010, bottled 01/2023 by the independent bottler Best Dram from Germany. Fully matured in First Fill Oloroso Hogshead 7970, 244 bottles were filled.
