The goji berry is one of the most nutritious fruits of all. Goji berries or wolfberry (lat .: Lycium barbarum) look like little red raisins and taste like a mixture of cranberries (lingonberries) and cherries. The typical region in China where the plant can be found is called Ningxia and from there it has spread widely as a cultivated plant. In our latitudes, wolfberry fruits are mostly only known to the initiated. The Latin name is Fructus Lycii Engl. = Wolfberries.
