Piedmont hazelnuts come from the Tonda Gentile delle Langhe variety and are considered the best hazelnuts. They are valued for their beautiful large and round shapes and their excellent smell and taste after roasting. These characteristic properties bring out the Piedmont hazelnuts especially in well-known delicacies such as gianduja and torrone. These Piedmont hazelnuts are calibrated, which means they are sorted according to a uniform size of 14 mm.
