Ruotker`s is the next generation from the Golles distillery. When Styrian craftsmanship meets exotic ingredients, Ron Johan Rum is born. Ron represents the Caribbean element, the exuberant, passionate spirit, while Johan stands for Archduke Johann of Austria (1782-1859), the important modernizer who loved Styria. This strong rum is a dark, robust, and aromatic rum bottled at cask strength. It`s a blend of rums aged 6-10 years in new white oak and ex-bourbon barrels. Distinct ester notes are reminiscent of Jamaican rum. On the nose and palate, powerful and rich spice notes emerge, along with complex caramel and chocolate aromas.
