Lemon wraps help - very decorative - at the table when lemon or lime juice is needed to round off dishes. For this purpose, citrus halves are wrapped in the circular cotton (food-safe) cloths and tied with a ribbon. The serving towels prevent the kernels from falling into the food and the citrus juice from splashing in undesirable directions when squeezing it out.
