 
        Kroepoek with shrimp, unbaked, small, Indonesia
Kroepoek is made from a mixture of tapioca flour and spices and is sold in dried slices. This version is seasoned with ground shrimp. When fried in hot oil, the slices more than double in size in a matter of seconds. They are eaten with rice, but also with wine, beer or spirits.
