The Riachuelo plantation in the Bahia region of Brazil benefits from a lush environment in the midst of the Atlantic rainforest, not far from the ocean. The cocoa trees are grown with respect for the surrounding fauna and flora, which consists of numerous exotic trees such as the Manilkara species and the Pau D`Arco tree.
