Spice Garden Lampong pepper, black, Indonesia
This Lampong pepper is cultivated on the Indonesian island of Sumatra. Its berries are smaller than those of Indian pepper, and Indonesian pepper is more spicy than aromatic. Nevertheless, it offers a green, fresh fragrance and is almost lemony in the taste, mild sharpness and fine bitter notes. This is perfect with dark meats such as game, lamb, beef or on hard cheese as well as to taste sauces and salads.
