For nearly three years, the development of Ireland`s Single Malt Vodka lasted. Jim Swan (the scientific force behind Kilchoman), Ian Wisniewski (internationally renowned liquor expert) and Roy Court (former production manager at Midleton). The result is a full-bodied and yet soft vodka with beautiful, fine aromas of cherry and chocolate, due solely to the use of Irish barley malt and the fourfold distillation in pot stills! Named after An Cailleach, the Celtic goddess of winter, Kalak`s Irish Single Malt Vodka sets out to enrich the world of vodka with hitherto unknown flavors.
