
Winter truffle extra (Tuber Melanosporum), whole truffle, round, Plantin
Particularly round and beautiful truffles with a very good degree of ripeness. They are boiled in salt and truffle juice. Fully preserved. Can be used like fresh truffles; cut or slice into small pieces. Ideal for making terrines, pies, sauces or cream cheese. For sauces, they should be sauteed in a little olive oil beforehand.
