UE - Riserva Anniversario, grape brandy, 5 years in oak barrels, 43% vol., Nonino

UE means grape in the Friulian dialect. The special bottling UE - Riserva Anniversario is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the special grape brandy technique developed by Nonino. Aged for over 5 years in barriques made from Limousin, Nevers, and ex-Sherry oak, this UE has a velvety amber color. On the nose, the distillate is very complex, soft, and elegant. Fruity and floral notes of vanilla, almonds, dried fruit, and grapes are characteristic of the Ribolla, Moscato, Merlot, and Malvasia grape varieties. The taste is spicy, aromatic, and long-lasting. Wonderful with poultry liver, dark chocolate, and chocolate desserts. Allow the UE a few minutes at room temperature in the glass to allow it to develop its perfect harmony.
