They are made with the utmost care from the end grain of best southern German oak. Due to its high tannin content, oak is naturally antibacterial and meets the strictest hygienic requirements. The vividly structured oak cornices are read by hand and precisely put together. The result is a characteristic, symmetrical pattern, which is further enhanced by the simple form. Every board is unique. A very fine surface finish and a final treatment with linseed oil and beeswax provide a noble appearance. Nesmuk boards are natural or dark smoked.
