Tonburi - caviar of the field - seeds of the Kochia scoparia plant, artichoke notes - 170 g - Glass

Tonburi - caviar of the field - seeds of the Kochia scoparia plant, artichoke notes

cooled product 0 ° C to + 7 ° C

The seeds of the Kochia scoparia are traditionally considered a delicacy in Japan and are used in the dish tonburi. The appearance and texture of the cooked and shelled seeds are similar to real caviar. They are therefore also called `field caviar.` The ready-to-cook seeds are a delightful addition to savory dishes, such as those with fish, offering a unique taste and texture. Field caviar crackles on the palate like caviar pearls, and its flavor is green and somewhat reminiscent of artichokes.
