This sauce is based on an ancient recipe from the island of Pantelleria. It is slightly spicy, because in addition to capers, sun-dried tomatoes and green olives also anchovies and hot pepper season the salsa. Pure on bruschetta, focaccia or as seasoning of tramezzini with fresh tomatoes or just on the hot pasta.
