Tartuflanghe uses only the hazelnut variety Tonda Gentile delle Langhe with the protected designation of origin IGT for the Dolce dAlba. It is cultivated in the area around Cortemilia, in southwestern Piedmont. Tartuflanghe truffle pralines are also available with dark chocolate, with real black summer truffles, with amaretto-almond flavor or as a coffee-cocoa bean praline.
