This mixture is used to season lamb in the Persian Gulf countries. In addition to paprika, chili and black pepper, Baharat also contains cumin, coriander, garlic, nigella (black cumin) and sweet, aromatic spices (cloves, mace and cardamom). Also goes very well with grilled foods such as steak or chops.
