The dried bark of the cinnamon tree goes well with apple pie, yeast rolls, pudding and compote. In Central and Eastern Europe, South Asia, Italy, Spain and Canada, cinnamon is also used to flavor soups, tomato sauce, vegetables, curries, stews and cous-cous. It is also ideal for flavoring mulled wine.
