After decades of trading with this article, we have seen and tasted many varieties of basmati. Today, where unfortunately a large part of Basmati is traded worldwide as a commodity, is no longer of convincing quality, we consider the Basmati by the company TILDA for the best. Try and enjoy the unique aroma already at the cooking, and the wonderful taste during the meal. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil with a little salt, add 1 cup of basmati and switch the flame off immediately (standard hotplate) or very small (ceramic). When the rice has swollen for 20 minutes, the water is absorbed - Done! After cooking, it smells slightly nutty.
