Especially in the North German lowlands - with high groundwater levels - the linden tree produces honey (almost) regularly. The bees fly to the tops of the linden trees, which are up to 30m high, until late in the evening. Pure linden honey is a strong, fresh honey with a typical linden honey aroma.
