The pennette is a thin version of the penne rigate, i.e. a tube noodle with slanted ends about 4-5 cm long. However, unlike penne, the pennette is not grooved and is therefore more suitable for cream sauces. This pasta comes from Italy and is made from the best durum wheat semolina, but without eggs. Also available in individual 500g packets!
