All De Cecco whole wheat pasta shapes are produced according to the original De Cecco system. Penne rigate belong to the short pasta family, are diagonally cut, and originate from the Campania region. They have a diameter of approximately 8 mm and are approximately 50 mm long. Penne rigate are ideal for baked pasta dishes, but can also be simply served with pork or beef sauces. They also taste excellent with vegetable sauces featuring pepperoni, zucchini, or artichokes, etc.
