Nat` Cool Drink Me Rose Wine DOC, dry, 11.5% vol., Niepoort

After a rigorous selection of the grapes on the sorting table, they were gently pressed, and the must was then left to settle for 48 hours under refrigeration. Alcoholic fermentation occurred spontaneously in 500-liter French oak barriques. The wine then matured in these for approximately 1-3 years. This Nat Cool Rose is a blend of several vintages, with all wines being pressed before fermentation, just as is the case with classic white wines. The color is concentrated with light orange hues. On the nose, aromas of violets, red berries, and rhubarb emerge, accompanied by nutty notes from aging in new French oak barrels. On the palate, the wine is structured and precise, with a delicate sweetness on the finish, beautifully balanced by acidity and spice.
