AT - BIO - 402 This wine grows at a dizzying altitude of 280 meters (by Burgenland standards) on limestone soils ideally suited to the grape variety. The grapes from the forty-year-old vines ripen on sun-drenched southwest-facing slopes. Fermentation takes place 70% in new tonneaux and 30% in stainless steel tanks - honeydew melon, Hawaiian pineapple, and biscuit. A fine, creamy finish. It simply tastes like Waikiki Beach.
