The Sancerre offers a multifaceted interplay of fruit flavors, including white asparagus, citrus, and flint. A characterful and concentrated Sauvignon Blanc with vibrant acidity. The winery`s style is rather classic, placing great emphasis on minerality, as it reflects the magnificent and diverse terroirs of the Loire. These wines are not the overly fruity and overpowering wines so common today. The Sancerre and Pouilly-Fume from Bourgeois are also known for their excellent aging potential. The premium ranges even reach their peak after three or four years and offer a delightful drinking experience even after ten years. Until the 2022 vintage, the Sancerre was called Les Baronnes.
