2023 Sonne Riesling Auslese, lusciously sweet, 7% vol., Tesch, 94+ RP

`SONNE` is a lusciously sweet TESCH Riesling with extreme concentration, sweetness, fruit aromas, and honey notes. This wine is only produced in perfectly suited vintages. It has a pale citrus or straw-yellow color. The bouquet is precise, fresh, and concentrated, yet crystalline - a typical Riesling bouquet. Supple, opulent, and very delicate on the palate. This is an exceptionally drinkable Auslese, whose sweetness is as sweet as raisins and which impresses with a piquant spiciness, freshness, and balance. Finesse that only Riesling can achieve. From a wine with only 7.0% alcohol, one would probably expect a much more concentrated and honey-sweet wine. This one is different: it is lively and sings!
