2023 Kanzem Altenberg Riesling GG, dry, 12% vol., Von Othegraven

The Othegraven winery is proud to own some of the Saar`s finest vineyards. Each one, with its unique slate soil and specific microclimate, represents a great terroir. Like a monumental cliff face, the Kanzemer Altenberg vineyard boasts a perfect south-southeast orientation. As in all Othegraven vineyards, Devonian slate is the defining element, in the Altenberg with traces of iron oxide. A noble wine grows there, mineral and warm at the same time, possessing inner grandeur and utterly self-contained.
