The Pinot Gris grapes come from various vineyards with loess and volcanic weathering soils, which are responsible for the wine`s pronounced minerality. A beautiful, clear aroma of ripe pears, melons, and a hint of citrus. A subtle spiciness comes from the careful use of used barriques. The wine is very full-bodied, powerful, and rich thanks to the lees. The well-balanced acidity creates an interesting interplay with a mineral tension. The winery consistently manages its vineyards according to its guiding principle: quality originates in the vineyard.
