2023 Chardonnay R QW, dry, 13% vol., vine wood, organic
The grapes were hand-harvested, destemmed, crushed, and gently pressed after a 24-hour maceration period. Following pre-clarification via natural sedimentation, fermentation took place predominantly in new French and Palatinate oak barriques. After nine months of aging on the lees in the barrel, the wine was racked and bottled in August 2018. This is a top-quality REBHOLZ wine with great aging potential, which, like all great Chardonnays, will reach its perfect drinking maturity in a few years.
