Black walnuts in syrup, with spices, Vieux Sinzig
Sinzig walnuts, harvested green on St. John`s Day (June 24th), are preserved with herbs and spices in a syrup prepared according to Jean-Marie Dumaine`s recipe. They are a perfect accompaniment to beef or can be served with vanilla ice cream.
