2020 Raboso Piave DOC, dry, 13.5% vol., Castello di Roncade

Made from 100% Raboso grapes, an indigenous grape variety of the Veneto region. Pronounced notes of cherries, violets, and honeycomb; very powerful, long-lasting, and tannic, pleasant on the palate. Located near Treviso, the Castello di Roncade winery, with its stately castle, cultivates 110 hectares of vineyards in a terroir characterized by a low-rainfall microclimate and a shallow layer of loamy clay. Superb aromatic white and red wines are produced in modern cellars using state-of-the-art technology.
