DE - ORGANIC - 001 A blend of the varieties Oberkulmer Rotkorn (a selection from a Swiss landrace) and Ostro (a cross between Oberkulmer Rotkorn and Steiners Roter Tiroler). Spelt is one of the oldest cultivated plants with excellent nutritional value and a traditional flavor. It is often prepared as a side dish or in stews and is comparable to rice in its uses. Mixed with durum wheat, spelt is an ideal base for baking bread.
